Design is something that we consider every day when building or renovating a home. What will the home look like? Which materials will be used? But, what actually is design? What does it mean?
At its very heart, great design is about being useful and useable.
At Nu-Heat we take a complete approach to design, not just the heating system but everything that is associated with it, from installation manuals through to zone marker pens.
The most important aspect is designing a bespoke heating system that will not only deliver the precise amount of heating required in your home, but also will be economical and high performing. Factors such as wall thicknesses, amounts of glazing, building materials and physical location all affect the buildings heat losses. Nu-Heat design individual heating systems that take into account all the relevant factors, and creates a bespoke design for every project, because every project is different.
At Nu-Heat we have a massive range of floor constructions, because we believe it’s our job to help and advise on the best solution for your project. We currently have over 42 different variations, from solid beam and block to specific acoustic variations and it’s increasing all the time. You are guaranteed that whatever home you have, Nu-Heat has a floor construction that will be a perfect fit, and if we don’t then we’ll develop one.
Nu-Heat also recognises the potential of change. When designing a home, it’s easy to think about now, but at Nu-Heat we design with the future in mind. Our policy is not to design a system to certain floor coverings, such as wood, because if you ever choose to change the floor covering to something more restrictive the heating system would no longer work. That’s why we don’t ask what floor covering you are planning to use, we always design to the worst case scenario of thick carpet for every room.
With Nu-Heat you are guaranteed that whatever the future holds, your home will always be warm.
